A CREATIVE MOMENT - Luke 24:36b-48 If you didn't do it last week, create a banner bearing a Jerusalem cross. (The crosses represent the five wounds of Jesus: the four small crosses, the four smaller wounds of the hands and feet; the larger cross, the wound in his side). If you did make that banner, perhaps a supplementary banner could also bear the words, "Peace be to you", together with an appropriate fish symbol In addition, bookmarks, carrying a pen and ink outline of the banner, photocopied onto light card could distributed by way of a "return offering" to the congregation. Recipients could be encouraged to take them home, decorate them as they choose, and use them. |
